Hob Nobble Gobble has scored another hot young pop star this year. Last year, the soiree the night before America's Thanksgiving Parade brought in R&B star Cassie to sing, and this year Paula DeAnda plans on dropping by to perform.

From singing Selena songs at Quinceañera fiestas in San Angelo, to climbing the charts with her debut album, Paula DeAnda is on track to become one of the finest R&B singers of her generation.

No matter what happens with Paula DeAnda’s career, the 17-year-old Texas pop singer can always say she impressed a music legend. When then-Arista Records boss Clive Davis — the man behind such talent as Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson — heard DeAnda sing, he immediately offered her a record deal.

Up and coming Arista recording artist Paula DeAnda will be performing the National Anthem prior to the Zippo 200 on August 11, where the drivers of the NASCAR Busch Series will be challenging the historic road course. The green flag is scheduled to drop at 3:30 PM.

Paula DeAnda was born November 3, 1989 in San Angelo, Texas. She grew up listening to such Texas musical legends as Selena. Her family recognized Paula's musical talent at an early age. She took piano lessons and began performing at local weddings and charity events.

Paula DeAnda is a refreshing change of pace from the saturated genre of being fly and hot, bragging about cash, jewelry, and sneakers, or giving us direction to do a clever dance.

Paula DeAnda’s self-titled debut album is a radio friendly pop-fueled 13 tracks that are sure to please fans of the pop music genre and the singer’s target audience.
